1 Marine Research Officer (MRO)
We are looking for a Marine Research Officer (MRO) to join our team and support our marine conservation efforts. The MRO will be fully integrated in the scientific department of CRCP and report to the conservation manager. As such, the most important portion of its time and mission will be focused on research field work (such as coral reef biophysical monitoring, Marine Protected Areas’s effectiveness assessment, Seagrass and Mangroves mapping, etc) followed by periods of data analysis, report writing and scientific communications.
The position is ideal for marine biology graduate looking to apply its skills and work for the conservation of coastal resources. CRCP is looking for a positive, dynamic and meticulous individual who loves research and field work. A background in marine biology or environmental science and relevant working experience is required for this position, and previous experience in an NGO setting preferred.
Position Type: Full-time, on-site, paid position

2 SEI – Science and Education Interns (3 months)
2 Science & education interns (SEI)
We are seeking 2 science and education interns or scholars to support our marine conservation efforts. The SEIs will work closely with our science team to take part in our ecological monitoring program of coral reefs in the Marine Protected Areas of Siquijor Island. In addition, the SEI will be assisting CRCP’s education efforts and environmental awareness programs. The internship will include a 6 weeks training period during which the intern will develop the required skills (in marine ecology and identification, scientific scuba diving, methodology) needed to take part in the scientific work and education work at CRCP. After training completion, the SEIs will be able to gather experience and assist CRCP science team while mentored by its senior members.
To succeed in this position, you should have a background in Marine or environmental science in the Philippines and be wanting to gain skills and field experience in an environmental NGO. You should as well be comfortable being in the water and doing field work at least 3-4 days per week with our science team.
Position Type: Internship.

2 SOI – Science officer Interns (6 months)
2 Science Officer Interns (SOI)
We are seeking 2 Science Officer interns to join our science and education team for 6 months and support our marine conservation efforts. The SOIs will learn to take part in our ecological monitoring program of coral reefs in the Marine Protected Areas of Siquijor Island and be assisting CRCP’s education efforts and environmental awareness programs to local and international participants as well as public outreach to tourists.
This position offers 6 months of mentorship and field experience in a grassroot environmental NGO. To succeed in this position, you should have a background in Marine or environmental science, excellent english, and wanting environmental conservation to be your career path. You should as well be comfortable being in the water and doing field work at least 3-4 days per week with our science team.
Position Type: Internship.
Applicants: Filipino nationals or international applicants with background in marine/ environmental science and excellent english.
Location: Siquijor, Siquijor
Length of Position: 6 months
Starting Date: April 2026 for 6 months. August 2026 for 4 months.
